On the map, Sudan is located in Eastern Africa, is the largest country. There are more than 500 ethnic groups in Sudan and they speak about 100 dialects. Most of the people here live along the Nile in the mud huts and the fishing and farming activities are combined. The vegetables available are cabbages, carrots, garlic, okra, onions, tomatoes, and squash. The desert of this country gives way for grassy plains. The climate is affected by altitude, dominated by desert and parts of Sudan are devastated by drought and war. South Sudan receives seasonal rainfall and highlands are wet. Dinka, an ethnic group that is the nomadic who move from one place to another with their cattle in search of grazing land and water.
