Poetry is a poetic or tenderly pleasing, appealing directly to one’s emotions. In a poetry form meanings are condensed in order to produce strong images and words are arranged according to their sounds that are elevated or sublime in their expressions. The person who writes poems is referred to as a “poet”, who possesses high powers of imagination or expressions. There are three main types of poetry such as epic poetry, lyric poetry and dramatic poetry. The narrative form of poetry exists in almost every culture of the world that includes various aspects like nature, religion and legend.
