Mental health is the absence of any “mental disorder”. It’s a term used to describe either a level of cognitive, emotional well-being of any individual human being. Mental health is the capacity to express one’s emotions and adoption to its demands. Mental health can be measured in continuum, where an individual's mental health varies from one another and have different possible values. The model of mental health generally includes concepts based upon anthropological, educational, psychological, religious and sociological perspectives, as well as theoretical perspectives which include personality, social, clinical, health and developmental psychology. The poor mental environment explains why there are high rates of mental illness. The recognition and understanding of mental health conditions has changed over time to time and across cultures, and there are still variations in the definition.
