The three tiers of MIS are top management, middle management and supervisory management. MIS provides the strategic planning, tactical planning and management operational planning to consider the work more effectively. It offers mangers with vital and necessary information to make sound decisions. MIS views organizations information needs from a systems point of view. Since, MIS is an integrated system; it avoids unnecessary duplication and redundancy in data gathering and storage. Thus, most big organization develops distribution systems to meet the information processing requirements of their various constituents.
