Computer graphics and multimedia is concerned with the generation, representation, manipulation and display of pictures with the aid of a computer. The emergence of graphical user interference, computer graphics has become an integral part of all computers today. The three broad classes of computer graphics are generative graphics, cognitive graphics and image processing. Generative graphics deals with the creation of 2D and 3D pictures. Cognitive graphics deals with algorithms to recognize and classify pictures. Image processing deals with the cleaning of blurred images and creating clear pictures. The mainly concerned graphics is the generative graphics. Multimedia is a form of real time communication using more than one medium of expression, communication etc. It is an extension of hypertext allowing the provision of audio and video material cross-referenced to a computer text. Multimedia has become increasingly popular due to its quick response time, its ease of use, and possibility of multitasking. As graphical representation and multimedia of results tremendously aids human comprehension has become versatile and inexpensive, this area is gaining importance in computing. |
