The written account of an individual’s life or the course of the living beings life can be termed as a biography. Such writing is related to the branch of literature. It’s a series of events, a record or narrative description of past events making up a person's life which is usually published in the form of a book or an essay, or in some other form, such as a film. Unlike a profile or curriculum vitae, a biography presents the subject's story, highlighting various aspects of his or her life, including intimate details of experiences, and may include an analysis of the subject's personality. Biographies are categorized into five different categories they include popular biographies, historical biographies, literary biographies, reference biographies, fictional biographies. The whole truth and nothing but the truth can make a biography the more systematic and interest the reader. A first-person account of a biography would be an "autobiography". A person who writes his/her own autobiography is called an "autobiographer”. |
